Suncoast NPI Announces Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco Counties as Recipient of Website Tithing Award
Locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International is a part of a global nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seek to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities, and hope.
SAFETY HARBOR, Apr 1, 2022 – Suncoast NPI, the premier networking organization in the Tampa Bay area, is pleased to announce the recipient of their website tithing award will be Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & West Pasco Counties, a local non-profit organization.
“We are very excited to be able to give back to the community in this way,” said Jon Marshall, owner of Suncoast NPI. “Habitat for Humanity does tremendous work in our area, and we’re honored to be able to work with them.”
The Suncoast NPI tithing award is given to non-profit organizations that best represent the ideals of community service, philanthropy, and selfless giving. The tithing award fundraiser will be hosted on both Suncoast NPI’s website and Habitat for Humanity’s website through June 30, 2022. To donate, please click here.
The locally-owned business referral and professional networking organization partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas & Pasco Counties to raise awareness and funding to help the non-profit fulfill its mission to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope.

The Habitat for Humanity fundraiser will last three months. From there, Suncoast NPI will rotate in another local non-profit, with the duration of each fundraiser to be in three-month increments.

About Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County and West Pasco Counties: Since 1985, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties has served over 900 families and individuals through its new home buyer and neighborhood revitalization programs using locally raised funds. Volunteers and the future homeowners construct the homes, which are sold at no profit and financed with a zero-interest loan. Habitat homeowner candidates earn 30 to 80 percent of area median income. Candidates must demonstrate need for adequate shelter; ability to pay back a zero-interest loan and willingness to partner with Habitat to invest 350 to 450 “sweat equity” hours. Mortgage monies are used to build even more homes, making each donation to Habitat a perpetual legacy to the community. Habitat believes that homeownership contributes to family stability, leading, in turn, to community stability. Additionally, the affiliate raises funds through their ReStores; home improvement outlets where donated household and building items are sold to the public.
